Welcome, one and all, to the
1998 IEEE Region 5 Conference web site!
Throughout the coming months, I invite you to
visit us at this site, as we put together an
exciting program of events to meet your IEEE
business, professional, and social needs. A
strong group of volunteers
is currently working hard to make this conference
one of the most successful and enjoyable in the
history of the event.
The conference will take place at
the lovely Worthington
Hotel in the heart of downtown Fort
Worth over the April 16-19th weekend, 1998.
The conference will include most of the
traditional events, such as the business
meetings and student activities, as
well as a technical
symposium on the Friday of the conference.
Look out too for some exciting social activities
as the conference coincides with the Fort
Worth Main St. Arts Festival.
