Text Box: The Emerging Technologies track, a continuing high-tech feature of MetroCon, returns yet again with an even broader range of topics.  This year’s talks cover advances in nanoscale materials, printed electronics based upon ink jet technology,  image recognition and segmentation using ALISA Engine, challenges using advanced integrated modeling, and advanced system designs.

Text Box: The Power Engineering track returns to MetroCon this year featuring critical and cutting-edge developments occurring today in the power industry sector.  Topics include accelerated Cable Life (ACLT) Results with Reduced Insulation Wall Thickness, changes to the NFPA 70E for 2009, communication networks, building for the 21st century utilities, and substation circuit breakers.
