The IEEE MetroCon Student Poster Competition is jointly sponsored by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics and Oncor Electric Delivery, LLC. The purpose of the competition is to encourage professional and technical development among engineering students. The competition includes an oral presentation and a poster which details the work being considered in the competition. The work must first be submitted in the form of a 500 word or less paper abstract which must be received by the competition\u2019s organization committee no later than October 26, 2022. The Student Poster Competition is open to IEEE Student Members who are either undergraduate or graduate students at the time of the competition. There will be separate competitions for undergraduate and graduate students. The participants may consist of a team of up to five members. Two members may present the poster at the competition and attend the convention free of charge. Remaining team members who wish to attend will need to pay the student fee for attendance to the Student Paper Competition ($25 per student).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engineering work presented must be relevant to the fields of Engineering represented by the IEEE and preferably pertain to a topic that is within one of the tracks of IEEE MetroCon 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition Date and Times<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

November 3, 2022 from 8:30-11:55 with oral presentations between 9:25am and 10:00am during the conference break and during judging from 10am to noon.\u00a0 Check the IEEE Metrocon 2022 Technical Program for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
