Abstract:
ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148:2018, Requirements engineering, describes the processes and products involved in engineering requirements throughout the life cycle of systems and software. The working group responsible for this international standard is considering a revision to better address its use in areas such as Agile and digital engineering, and to align it to the most current revisions of ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207 and ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288. This presentation provides a high-level review of what may be included in the next revision, including some information already in the current standard.
