The working group responsible for this international standard is considering a revision to better address its&nbsp;use in areas such as Agile and digital&nbsp;engineering, and to align it to the most current revisions of ISO\/IEC\/IEEE 12207 and ISO\/IEC\/IEEE 15288. This presentation provides a high-level review of what may be included in the next revision, including some information already in the current standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Speaker Bio:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ken Garlington retired from Lockheed Martin in 2024 after a forty-year career developing and sustaining multiple defense aerospace systems as a software engineer and systems engineer, including the F-16, F-22, and F-35 air systems. He continues to pursue his interest in systems engineering and systems agility through his involvement in the INCOSE Agile Systems and Systems Engineering working group. He is also a project editor and contributor to the ISO\/IEC Software and Systems Engineering and ISO\/IEC Agile and DevOps working groups. Ken is an INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional.
