His R&amp;D group focuses on the design and fabrication of next generation infrared detectors and avalanche photodiodes (APDs) for ground, air, and space applications. &nbsp;Sameer has decades of experience in microfabrication, semiconductor process development, and thin film deposition and characterization including leading the design and fabrication of next generation amorphous silicon microbolometers and thin-film integration in Cu dual damascene interconnect technology.
